Overview

BGMUP is a focused listening app for Japanese vocal music. This policy describes the data handled by version 1.0.1.

Data Stored On Device

BGMUP may store the following information on the user's device to keep the app experience working.

• Favorite track IDs, pinned playlist IDs, and favorite genre IDs
• Up to 30 recent track IDs and the last startup track ID
• Playback volume
• Daily Focus goal and journal text, plus the goal-completion state
• Preferred Focus timer duration and the last selected clock face
• Stopwatch accumulated time and, while running, its start timestamp
• Cached playlist catalog data, audio files, and jacket images

The selected playlist and DAYTIME / NIGHTTIME listening period are session-only state held in memory while the app is running. An active Focus countdown is stored only on-device so its remaining time and paused/running state can be restored accurately after the app returns or relaunches.

Personal Data

BGMUP 1.0.1 does not require an account, use an analytics SDK, track users across apps or websites, or sell data.

Focus goal and journal text may contain information entered by the user. BGMUP keeps that text on the device and does not upload it. The app also does not upload locally stored favorites, recents, pinned items, genre preferences, stopwatch state, clock selection, or playback-volume value.

Accounts And User Content

BGMUP 1.0.1 has no account system, content-upload flow, public profiles, comments, messaging, or other user-generated content.

Network Access

BGMUP may load playlist data, audio files, and jacket images from BGMUP’s content-hosting provider.

To deliver, monitor, and secure those files, the hosting provider may process and temporarily retain operational request metadata such as IP address, requested path, timestamp, HTTP status, latency, and bandwidth. BGMUP does not add an account ID, advertising ID, listening-history ID, or per-launch timestamp to catalog requests. This operational data is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Purchases

BGMUP 1.0.1 does not sell subscriptions or digital purchases and contains no external purchase links.
